What does the group do?

  • Reviews weekly list of Planning Applications from South Ribble Borough Council

  • Responds to South Ribble Borough Council’s Planning Department
    • with reservations on proposals which are likely to harm or erode our countryside or environment
    • opposing harmful Planning Applications
    • to give local information or constructive comments on applications which have scope for betterment of the environment

  • Attends Local Area Meetings where Planning issues are discussed

  • Liaison with SRBC’s Community Action Forums

  • Local Plan - This is shortly due for revision and we will aim to be constructive partners in the forthcoming assessment of the South Ribble Borough Council Local Plan for 2006 – 2012

 

Meeting Venue:

The meetings are held at the CVS offices in Leyland. Please contact us if you need directions.

Meetings are usually held on the fourth Monday of the month (not including Bank Holidays).
